In 2014 after having their first baby boy, Emily did not feel like herself. She was bouncing around from her mom's house and her in laws' house with a new baby while Scott was deployed to Afghanistan. Motherhood, something she had dreamt of her whole life was nothing she had envisioned. She found herself resenting her new baby, ignoring her school work and slipping into deep, dark thoughts. After a few satellite phone calls with Scott, they both decided she should see her doctor and seek help. Emily took it upon herself to research alternative, holistic options online. Over the next four months she was put on anti depressants and joined a fitness group. At only 24 years old she did not feel like herself. She was desperate. Scott felt hopeless overseas. She saw a friend mention Plexus supplements on Facebook and after months of skepticism and rude remarks she secretly joined for the wholesale discount. That July of 2014. Little did she know that the relationships, friendships and community she grew up in would rally her with support, confusion, even more skepticism and doubt. Scott found out via email and was severely disappointed in her decision. He did not support network marketing. This fueled Emily's fiery passion for personal growth and helping others discover health and happiness as she had. Shortly after beginning a few of the products her doctor decided she no longer needed to continue the anti depressants. She had lost 21lbs and was bringing in a residual income. 8 months later she had earned her first Plexus Lexus, a perk and part of the Plexus compensation plan. Emily has a servant's heart and pours relentlessly back into her team of over 6,000 men and women. In 21 months she had reached a top position in Plexus, known as the rank of Diamond. Their family and story have been featured in the Success From Home Magazine, July 2018 issue. They now work the business together and reside in their dream home they built from her growing business. She gives all the glory to God and had endless praises and thanks to her team and customers.
"I’m not trying to be a super model,
I’m trying to be a super mom."
No make up. No spanx. No heels. No hairspray. Just the reason I breathe and the babies behind the baby weight and why it all started. Sure it may have been in vain but God knew the true reason. I live to serve Him anddddd apparently these littles too. I love being a mom, but I also love being a social marketing, direct sales, network marketing, blogging, failing forward mom. I hope you love what you’re doing and if you don’t I can’t wait to show you what’s working for us!
